Steffi

“I started working in the fitness industry in 2006, having had a passion for sport throughout my school years. I am a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer, with qualifications in Nutrition, Sports Psychology, Pilates, Yoga, Exercise to Music & Conditioning.

Making exercise achievable, enjoyable and effective at all ages, whether a beginner or experienced is what I love doing. Seeing clients achieve their goals throughout their journey, whether it is losing weight, getting fitter, increasing strength or changing shape makes my job rewarding.

Keeping training fresh and challenging helps to keep clients motivated and in turn, see consistent results.”

Jo

I qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer in 2019 after many years of personal experience in the gym trying various styles and methods of training. I became passionate about training and finding ways to improve both physical and mental aspects, making significant positive changes to my own fitness, strength and body shape.

I now enjoy passing this knowledge onto my clients to see them progress. There is nothing better than seeing my clients achieving their goals with my support, whether that be weight loss, toning or hitting that new strength PB.

I completed my qualifications in Sports Massage Therapy & Exercise Referral in 2020 to further my knowledge and give me more tools to help support my clients.

Anthea

“I’ve always had a keen interest in various sports and I initially became passionate about my own fitness, goal setting & nutrition. Wanting to pass on knowledge to others, I completed Level 2 Fitness Instruction in Jan 2020 then keen to learn more, I went on the complete Level 3 Personal Training in March 2021. I have since added CPD courses in Strength & Conditioning, Kettlebells, Pilates & Spin.

My PT clients have seen amazing results in their health & fitness as well as great enjoyment in the gym. One of my main strengths is working 1 to 1 with people to improve confidence & understanding. I believe everybody can train regardless of age & ability, it’s all about creating realistic programmes.”

I’ve always been passionate about fitness and as a dancer it’s a huge part of my life, but since gaining my Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification with tfd in 2020, I’ve really seen how fitness can make a difference in people’s lives.

I recently qualified in 2023 as a Level 3 Personal Trainer to help people feel their most confident selves again, however that looks and feels. I’ve got a varied training background in dance, weight training, stretching, mobility and pilates to name a few.”

Kim

I qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer in January 2011 after always having a passion for training and a love of working with other to help them achieve their goals. I really enjoy showing clients that exercise doesn’t have to be boring!”

Sam

I started working at TFD back in 2019. Finishing my Level 2 fitness instructor course in 2021 and my Level 3 Personal Training course in 2023, I’ve been able to build up knowledge and experience hands on through classes and 1-on-1 consultations and programme design. I’ve been passionate about health and fitness since a young age, playing various sports, doing my work experience at TFD when I was 15 and training within the gym since the age of 16. Finding that training significantly helped both my mental and physical fitness, I’ve wanted to spread how great exercise is onto new clients and help them feel as great as I do!

Over the past 4 years, I’ve been fortunate enough to see the impact exercise has had on many clients through 1-on-1 consultations and classes that have run. Seeing the joy and success of so many inspired me to push further and increase my knowledge, so I can help support many more people along each of their own journeys. Improving confidence, creating an enjoyable atmosphere around training, teaching clients new ways to train, building relationships, helping you be a better version of yourself and reach all of your goals is exactly what my mission as a personal trainer is!

Calum

“I became interested in health & fitness during my three years at a professional football and educational academy. I achieved my level 3 Personal Training qualification shortly after finishing at the academy. Having learnt the basics of fitness training, I wanted to learn about the scientific aspects of health and fitness.

To do this, I enrolled in a three-year BSc Strength and Conditioning course at the University of South Wales. Apart from the advanced fitness modules, the degree course included specialised modules for Functional Screening: Assessment of movement patterns and posture, Functional Training: Technical exercises to develop fundamental movement patterns, Special Population: Including children, elderly and disabled, Sports injury and rehabilitation, Sport-specific exercise & Sports Nutrition. After successfully graduating from university, my interest in injury rehabilitation compelled me to undertake a level 3 sports therapy course.

The key to long term success is finding what works best for you, but also what you enjoy! Each of my sessions will be tailor-made to suit you and your goals. My passion for health and wellness means that I always ensure you reach your full potential.”

“As someone who has been engrossed in sports and exercise since a very young age, I’ve seen the benefits of physical activity for those taking part, ranging from improving posture and weight loss to creating fulfilment in someone’s day to day life.

My desire, as your personal trainer, is to assist you in achieving your goals no matter how big or small, as well as to share the knowledge I’ve accumulated through six years of training in order to motivate you towards a happier, healthier life.

Christine

I was a very late entrant to the fitness industry at age 43 in 2001, initially inspired by my success helping people to achieve their weight management goals. I was already teaching Group Exercise classes and decided on a complete career change to qualify as a Level 3 Personal Trainer. Now some years on, and in the best shape of my life, I am living proof to clients that it is never too late to develop and improve strength, cardio fitness, flexibility and good body shape!

My client base is extremely wide ranging. At one end are older clients requiring rehab after illness or to offset chronic conditions, whereas at the other are those who are very fit and relish being continually taken further out of their comfort zones. I ensure clients are challenged and able to make progress at their own level and regularly research fitness and nutrition issues to ensure that what I deliver is both appropriate and up to date. I am passionate about helping clients achieve their goals and strive for more!

Alex

With a personal interest in training hard, good nutrition and work life balance, I aim to pass on my knowledge to help people achieve their goals in all these areas.  As with my training, I take care to teach quality technique to get results fast and injury free.  I structure individual training plans to include lots of variety to aim for a full body workout adding in extra focus on specific areas discussed in the initial goal setting.

After qualifying as a level 3 Personal Trainer in 2010, I get a great deal of satisfaction seeing my clients aged 19 to 75 become stronger, change shape, lose weight, sculpt & tone muscle, build confidence and improve motivation.
